(Bloomberg) -- Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average
rose 94.88, or 0.5 percent, to 17,774.93 at 9:02 a.m. in Tokyo.
The broader Topix index added 8.39, or 0.5 percent, to
1739.93.
Toyota Motor Corp. and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. led
the advances.
