99 Cents Only Stores quarterly loss narrows

(Reuters) - The results included a 1 cent per share charge from stock
option expenses.




Quarterly sales rose 9.4 percent to $277.9 million.
Same-store sales, a key retail measure of sales at stores open
at least a year, rose 2.9 percent during the quarter, the
company said.
