GLOBAL MARKETS-U.S. stocks mixed, oil hits 11-month high

(Reuters) - NEW YORK, July 9 - U.S. stocks were mixed on
Monday as a gain in shares of plane maker Boeing Co. was
countered by disappointing profit outlooks and concerns about
oil prices that hit an 11-month high.

The Dow Jones industrial average rose but a broader
Standard & Poor's 500 Index was slightly weaker. The Nasdaq
Composite Index, however, turned lower after briefly touching
its highest level in more than six years. Global stock markets
were mostly higher and Japan's Nikkei closed at a seven-year
high.
