The Kospi index added 0.6 percent to a record 1894.53. The
Kosdaq added 0.2 percent to 814.85. Kospi 200 futures expiring in
September advanced 0.6 percent to 242.30, while the underlying
index climbed 0.6 percent to 241.02.
