(Bloomberg) -- Chile's peso declined as investors
sought refuge from Bear Stearns Cos. hedge fund losses,
curtailing money flows to emerging markets.
``With all this noise about the Bear Stearns fund falling
apart, there is a flight-to-quality move,'' said David Oyarce, a
trader in Santiago at HSBC Bank Chile.
