(Reuters) - Front-month natural gas futures are trading above $6.50
per million British thermal units on the New York
Mercantile Exchange. Those prices are high by historical
standards, but off their highs for the year. Natural gas prices
began soaring in 2001.
In addition, National Grid will share equally with
customers the annual merger savings from its New York City and
Long Island businesses.
