DEALTALK-Comparison Web sites pique interest at peak values

(Reuters) - Moneysupermarket.com is headed for a 1 billion pound public flotation at the end of July while UK motor insurer Admiral Group Plc only recently ended talks with suitors for its insurance premium comparison site Confused.com.




Cheapflights, which compares travel deals online, also hired a bank in May to explore a possible stake sale or IPO, while private equity firm Providence Equity Partners reportedly bought a majority stake in comparison site NexTag for $830 million.

Ex-Qwest CEO Nacchio putting $52 mln in escrow

(Reuters) - Money from illegal trading is subject to forfeiture under
law, prosecutors said, but the amount Nacchio will have to pay
has not been determined.




Nacchio, 57, was convicted in April of 19 counts of insider
trading for grossing more than $52 million based on information
unknown to investors. He was found not guilty on 23 additional
counts.

New US farm law to tap $20 bln fund--House ag head

(Reuters) - Chairman Collin Peterson told reporters it was becoming
clearer that his committee will be able to dip into the
reserve, which could prevent the planned mothballing of the
first "green payment" program for land stewardship.




Money also may be available to enroll more land in wetland
and grassland programs, said Peterson, Minnesota Democrat.
