Indonesia's July Crude Oil Production Falls 0.4 Percent From Month Earlier

(Bloomberg) -- Crude oil output in Indonesia,
Southeast Asia's biggest oil producer, fell 0.4 percent in July
from June, regulator BPMigas said.

Crude production declined to an average of 825,614 barrels a
day from 828,941 barrels a day a month earlier, BPMigas said
today. Output of condensate, a type of light oil produced in
association with natural gas, climbed 2.3 percent to 118,072
barrels a day in July.

White Sugar Falls for 2nd Day After F.O. Licht Raises Production Forecast

(Bloomberg) -- White sugar fell for a second
straight trading session in London after German commodity
research company F.O. Licht lifted its production forecast.

Global sugar-cane output, led by an increase from India,
will be 4.6 percent higher than previously forecast, bolstering
a surplus, F.O. Licht said in an e-mailed report today. Output
will be 130 million tons in the 2006-2007 season, up 19 percent
from last year, the Ratzeburg, Germany-based group said. India
is the world's second-biggest producer, after Brazil.

China's Industrial Production Surges, Highlighting Failure to Cool Economy

(Bloomberg) -- China's industrial production grew
at the fastest pace in three months, underscoring the
government's failure to cool the economy.

Output rose 18.1 percent in May from a year earlier, the
National Bureau of Statistics said today, after gaining 17.4
percent in April. That compared with the 17 percent median
estimate of 19 economists surveyed by Bloomberg News.

OPEC Crude Oil Production Fell 0.5 Percent in May, Bloomberg Survey Shows

(Bloomberg) -- Crude-oil production in May by
members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries
fell 0.5 percent, led by declines in Nigeria and Iraq, a
Bloomberg News survey showed.

Output slipped 150,000 barrels to an average 30.01 million
barrels a day, according to the survey of oil companies,
producers and analysts. Production in April was revised to
30.155 million barrels a day from 30 million estimated last
month.
