Apple, DTE Energy, Lions Gate, Seaspan, Theravance: U.S. Equity Preview

(Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of companies
whose shares may have unusual price changes in U.S. exchanges
tomorrow. This preview includes news that broke after exchanges
closed. Stock symbols are in parentheses after company names.

Apple Inc. (AAPL US) shares rose as much as $1.62, or 1.3
percent, to $123.66 in extended trading. The U.S. debut of the
iPhone drew thousands of shoppers over the weekend, emptying most
of AT&T Inc.'s inventory and causing network glitches as the
flood of customers began activating the device. Shoppers snapped
up as many as 200,000 iPhones the first day after the device went
on sale June 29, according to Global Equities Research.

Bank of America to Be First U.S. Issuer of Dollar-Based Covered Bonds

(Bloomberg) -- Bank of America Corp. will become the
first domestic seller of U.S. dollar denominated covered bonds
with the sale of $2 billion of the securities backed by U.S.
residential mortgages, ratings companies said.

The bonds, like all covered bonds, will receive AAA ratings,
Moody's Investors Service and Fitch Ratings said. The securities
get AAA ratings because they are backed by home loans held by the
bank, which also promises to pay back the debt.

CDOs in `6-Inch Hooker Heels' Fooled Moody's and S&P, Pimco's Gross Says

(Bloomberg) -- Holders of some investment-grade
portions of collateralized debt obligations backed by subprime
mortgages will lose all of their money, according to Bill Gross,
manager of the world's biggest bond fund.

Bankers and money managers bundle securities into CDOs and
divide them into slices with credit ratings as high as AAA from
Standard & Poor's and Aaa by Moody's Investors Service.

Apple, Ford Motor, Medivation, Netflix, Tyson Foods: U.S. Equity Preview

(Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of companies
whose shares may have unusual price changes in U.S. exchanges.
This preview includes news that broke after exchanges closed June
8. Stock symbols are in parentheses after company names. Share
prices are as of 9 a.m. New York time.

Apple Inc. (AAPL US) rose $1.61, or 1.3 percent, to $126.10
in trading before the open of U.S. exchanges. The Financial Times
reported that the maker of the iPod music player is in talks with
some of Hollywood's largest studios to start an online film
rental service. The service would help Apple compete for
customers with cable and satellite television companies, the
newspaper said. Apple representatives didn't immediately return
phone calls from Bloomberg made before regular business hours.

JPMorgan to sell 5-year senior bond in A$ debut

(Reuters) - Indicative pricing is 20 basis points over swap.




The issuer is also considering a 10-year subordinated bond
but did not give pricing indications, the portfolio manager
said. The sub debt offer would be issued by JPMorgan Chase Bank
and would be rated AA- by S&P and Aa1 by Moody's.

Muni hedge fund says hires Merrill's Kuller

(Reuters) - Kuller will join 1861 as an assistant portfolio manager,
the fund said in a statement. Kuller was senior director and
manager of the municipal bond credit research group at Merrill
Lynch, and has been at the Wall Street firm for 16 years, the
fund said.




"The hiring of Kurt allows us to expand into other sectors
of the $2.4 trillion municipal bond market, such as housing
bonds, which offer more attractive yields at the 'AAA' and 'AA'
rating levels for our investors," said John Lee, one of the
founders of 1861. "In fact, the state housing finance
authorities are often more highly rated than the states
themselves."

JPMorgan Chase to update Aussie debt investors

(Reuters) - JPMorgan Chase Co. has recently established its first
Kangaroo bond programme, but has yet to issue from it.




Its senior credit is AA- by Standard & Poor's and Aa2 by
Moody's.

Cypress Bioscience, Dillard's RSC, Spartan: U.S. Equity Movers Final

(Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of companies
whose shares had unusual price changes in U.S. exchanges today.
Stock symbols are in parentheses after company names. Shares
prices are as of 4 p.m. New York time.

Advanced Analogic Technologies Inc. (AATI US) rose $1.32, or
16 percent, to $9.33. The maker of power-management chips for
mobile phones and computers said Judge Sidney Harris of the U.S.
International Trade Commission ruled the company didn't infringe
Linear Technology Corp.'s (LLTC US) patents. Shares of Linear
fell $1.34, or 3.6 percent, to $35.79.
